The Hurley Hawks Science Olympiad team achieved a bronze medal at the 29th annual Science Olympiad. Fifteen Hurley Hawks participated in 20 events and demonstrated their science skills in various events like Crime Busters, Tennis Catapult, Mystery Architecture and Weather or Not. Fourth grade teacher Vanessa Guadron put forward countless hours and energy to make sure our Hurley Hawks represented Hurley and the community in fierce fashion. She is an amazing asset for Hurley and our students! Our students are proud of their communication, collaboration and exemplary efforts. The parents of our fifteen families were with us every event of the way. These mommy’s and daddy’s have much to be proud of!
