Hurley Hawks celebrated various awards and launched its Pennies for Patients campaign on Thursday March 26th. Student learned about red blood cells, white blood cells and plasma. All were encouraged to give to the Pennies for Patients campaign and fundraise more than the $2,000 the Hurley students raised four years ago. Additionally, 6th grade student Jocelyn read her essay about the importance of taking a stand to end bullying as April is also our Anti-bullying awareness month. Finally, over 100 students were recognized with Reading Awards, Math Awards, the Hurley Hawk Awards and Hurley Student of the Month.
