NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Trustee Area Boundaries from which District Governing Board Members Will Be Elected
The Rowland Unified School Distrtict will hold a Public Hearing is to provide members of the public the opportunity to be aware of and to comment on the 2020 Census Data for the school district as presented by the District’s demographer, Cooperative Strategies. If based on the 2020 Census data, the District trustee areas vary 10% or more in population, the Board is required, pursuant to Education Code section 5019.5, to adjust the trustee area boundaries.
If the based on the 2020 Census data, the District trustee areas vary less than 10%, the Board may maintain the current trustee area boundaries. Cooperative Strategies has advised the District that current trustee area boundaries vary about 7% in population.
